Laws of motion and Newtonian physics

The laws of motion :

The laws of motion are a set of laws formulataed by Sir Issac Newton  around 400 year before in 1666. These laws laws were an important discovery and brought about great revolution in the concept of modern physics. These laws of proved really useful in various assets of life and were considered a very important discovery of that period. Below I have mentioned these laws of motion and elaborated them with examples , so keep reading 👇👇👇

1st law of motion : In the1st law of motion Newton stated that ‘ every object continues to be in its state of rest or uniform motion along a straight line unless compelled to change its state by an external unbalanced force ’. And this law is proved by a very simple example. A ball if set in motion will continue to move along a straight line unless external unbalanced force like friction does not oppose it.

2nd law of motion : The second law of motion states that ‘Force = change in momentum per change in time ’. Always remember that for a constant mass force is equals to mass times acceleration . So this can be formulated as follows :- Force ( F ) = mass ( m ) x acceleration ( a )
ie. F = m x a   similarly this formula can also be reversed as   a = F / m
Another point to keep in mind with reference to this formula is 1. small the net force and bigger the mass = small acceleration   &  2. large the net force and small the mass = large acceleration.

3rd law of motion : This is the one of the most famous physics laws you must have heard of ‘ every action has an equal and opposite reaction ’. This law states that for every action there must be an equal and opposite resultant reaction. For e.g. if you hit a wall with a force equal to 50 newton then there is an equal and opposite resultant force of your action which returns a force of 50 Newton back to your hand making you feel the pain.

These simple yet useful laws have been ruling the modern physics since ages

In this blog we discussed the 3 laws of motion formulated by Newton. In the next blog we will be discussing the famous laws of electromagnetism. So keep reading and don’t forget to like & share !!!😀😀😀
